Censor Studio uses AI-powered body detection to automatically identify and censor regions in images. Choose from multiple censoring styles, customize which body parts to target, and overlay your own stickers or captions.

How It Works

Censor Studio sends your image through an AI detection model that identifies body regions (breasts, genitalia, buttocks, faces, and more). Each detected region is then censored using your chosen style — blur, pixelation, black bars, sticker overlays, or caption text.
1

Load an image

Upload an image from your device (JPEG, PNG, or WebP, up to 20 MB) or fetch a random image from Reddit by entering one or more subreddits. You can also transfer images from other Joip tools via the JOIP dropdown menu.
2

Choose a censoring preset

Select one of the built-in presets or go fully custom. Each preset applies a specific censor style to all detected body parts at a default intensity.
3

Censor the image

Press the Censor button. The AI model scans the image, detects relevant body parts, and applies censoring to each detected region. You will see a count of how many regions were found.
4

Review and refine

Toggle between Before and After views to compare. If you want a different look, adjust your settings and censor again — each run always works from the original image.
5

Save or download

Download the censored image to your device, or save it to your Media Vault. You can optionally share it to the community Discover feed when saving.

Censoring Presets

Presets provide one-click censoring styles. Select a preset and the tool automatically applies that censor type to all detected regions.
PresetStyleDescription
BlurGaussian blurSmoothly blurs detected regions
PixelateMosaic pixelationApplies a mosaic / pixel grid effect
Black BarsSolid black rectanglesCovers regions with opaque black bars
StickersImage overlaysPlaces sticker images over detected regions
CaptionsText overlaysOverlays text captions on detected regions
CustomMix and matchConfigure per-body-part censor types and intensity
The Custom preset lets you assign a different censor style to each body part. For example, you could blur faces while placing stickers over other regions.

Body Part Detection

The AI model can detect and censor 18 distinct body regions, grouped into categories:
  • Breasts (Female)
  • Breasts (Male)
  • Genitalia (Female)
  • Genitalia (Male)
  • Buttocks
  • Anus
  • Belly
  • Armpits
  • Feet
  • Breasts (Covered)
  • Genitalia (Covered)
  • Buttocks (Covered)
  • Belly (Covered)
  • Feet (Covered)
  • Face (Female)
  • Face (Male)
  • Eyes (Female)
  • Mouth (Female)
By default, the tool targets Exposed Breasts (Female), Exposed Genitalia (Female), and Exposed Buttocks. In Custom mode you can select any combination of body parts.

Intensity Control

Adjust the censoring intensity from 1 (subtle) to 20 (maximum). The default is 8. Higher intensity means heavier blur, larger pixel blocks, or more opaque overlays.
Intensity applies to blur, pixelate, and black bar styles. Stickers and captions are placed at a fixed size relative to the detected region regardless of the intensity slider.

Sticker Packs

When using the Stickers preset (or assigning sticker type to body parts in Custom mode), sticker images are placed over each detected region.

Default Stickers

Joip provides a built-in set of default stickers that are used automatically when no custom pack is selected.

Creating Custom Sticker Packs

1

Open the Sticker Manager

Click the sticker pack dropdown and select Manage Sticker Packs to open the sticker manager dialog.
2

Create a new pack

Enter a name for your pack and click Create Pack.
3

Upload sticker images

Select your pack, then upload sticker images. Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF. You can upload up to 50 stickers at once.
4

Select your pack for censoring

Close the manager and choose your new pack from the sticker pack dropdown before censoring.
Stickers with transparent backgrounds (PNG or WebP) work best because the transparency is preserved when overlaying on detected regions.

Caption Sets

When using the Captions preset, text captions are overlaid on detected regions. You can use built-in themed caption packs, create your own custom sets, or use the server default captions.

Built-in Caption Themes

Joip includes several preset caption packs organized by theme:
ThemeDescription
JOI / EdgingCommanding instructions focused on edging and denial
Forced-BiCoercion and sexuality exploration themes
Beta / BullyPower imbalance and humiliation dynamics
CBT / PainIntense pain play scenarios
CuckoldHumiliation and voyeurism themes

Creating Custom Caption Sets

1

Open the Caption Editor

Click the caption set dropdown and select Create New to open the caption editor.
2

Name your set and add captions

Enter a name, then type your captions — one per line. Each line becomes a separate caption that can be randomly placed on detected regions.
3

Save

Click Save to create the set. You can edit or delete it later from the same dropdown.

Image Obfuscation (Ruin)

After censoring, you can apply an additional Ruin effect that adds obfuscation processing to the censored image. This applies image-level distortion effects on top of the region-level censoring, making the image even harder to interpret.
The Ruin effect is applied on top of the already-censored image. It cannot be undone — if you want the non-ruined version, download or save before applying Ruin.

Image Sources

Drag and drop or click to browse. Supports JPEG, PNG, and WebP up to 20 MB.

Saving Results

After censoring, you have two options:
  • Download — Downloads the censored image directly to your device as a JPEG, PNG, or WebP file.
  • Save to Media Vault — Stores the censored image in your personal Media Vault. Toggle the Share to Community option to also post it to the Discover feed.

History

Censor Studio keeps a local history of your recent censoring sessions. Click any history item to reload the before/after comparison. History is stored in your browser and persists across page reloads.

Credit Cost

Each censoring operation costs credits. The exact cost is set by the admin pricing configuration for the betacensor_censor feature. Check the Credits page for current pricing.
If the AI model does not detect any body parts in your image, credits are still consumed because the detection scan was performed. Choose images with clear subjects for best results.

FAQ

The detection model works best with clear, well-lit images where body parts are visible. Low-resolution images, unusual angles, or heavy clothing may result in zero detections. Try a different image or switch to Custom mode to manually select which body parts to target.
Yes. Each censor operation works from the original image, not the previously censored result. Change your preset or settings and censor again to try a different look.
Censor Studio checks the service status automatically. If the service is down, you will see a status message and the Censor button will be disabled. The tool retries the connection periodically in the background.
Yes. Create a custom sticker pack in the Sticker Manager and upload your own images. PNG and WebP stickers with transparency work best.
Each caption set must have at least one caption. There is no strict upper limit, but very large sets may slow down the interface. Each caption must be a non-empty line of text.
